Domenicca Botero is a Mexican-Ecuadorian film director. Her debut short film, Silver Waters, was recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in five categories. Born in Miami, raised in Mexico City, and now Atlanta-based, Domenicca understands the importance of celebrating multicultural backgrounds. A passionate storyteller coming from a diverse household, Domenicca uses film to explore themes of belonging while honoring the nuances of identity. With years of experience in the art department, she relies on elements of production design to visually elevate all of her projects, creating heartfelt stories with visually distinct aesthetics.Â
